I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being."

Answer

1.  The term “sing” in Psalm 104:33 literally means to “touch the strings of a musical instrument.” The term has the additional connotation of accompanying the playing of a musical instrument with vocal singing. Knowing these meanings, has God gifted you with the abilities to play a musical instrument and accompany that music with your voice? If so, will you commit to using those gifts to praise and glorify God “as long as (you) live,” especially in the context of the local church?

2.  God desires His people praise Him forever  (“While I have my being”). Consequently, there should never be a time during your existence when you can exhaust your praise of God. Knowing this, will you commit to celebrating God’s glorious character by ensuring your heart will always be eager to praise and adore Him with your gifted voice?

Hello,

First, I want to thank you for being part of our online community. Second, I wanted to ask if you would consider supporting the work of CBF through our online giving portal? We know that many of you are struggling financially. We would never ask anyone in such a situation to give to us rather than care for their family. We believe that our calling is to steward God's gifts well. Asking someone to neglect their obligation to family in the name of financial giving would be irresponsible on our part. Having said this we also acknowledge that many of us have been blessed by God even in this time of hardship. We are asking that those who have been given much would consider helping to support the work God is doing through our church. We are a small community of believer and given our size this time of hardship will continue to affect the work that we are able to produce in the coming weeks and possibly months. We can assure you that anything given to CBF will be used to glorify God in the Naples area. Would you please consider partnering with us in the work of the Gospel? If you feel God leading you to partner with us, just click on the "Support CBF Naples" button below. When you get there scroll down and you will find a "donate" button.

Blessings,

The CBF Team

2 Corinthians 9:7:

7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
